Performing Artist and Educator
Patrick Oliverio is currently the graduate teaching assistant at Michigan State University and is second trumpet with the faculty ensemble, Beaumont Brass Quintet. Mr. Oliverio currently plays repiano cornet with the Fountain City Brass Band and has performed with ensembles such as the Detroit Symphony, the Alabama Symphony, the Kansas City Symphony, the Kinnor Philharmonic, and the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas. Mr. Oliverio is also on the visionary panel and on staff with the National Youth Brass Band of America. In 2017, Patrick won first place in the graduate division of the National Trumpet Competition in Boulder, CO. Prior to attending Michigan State University Patrick earned a MM in Trumpet Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance and a BM in Trumpet Performance from the University of Arkansas.
